"Watercolor paintings have always had a special place in my heart.   With it’s fluid nature, spontaneity, and natural transparency; no media is more compelling and personally expressive."

Janice Blore Studio/Artescapes Vancouver

It has long been my dream to create a studio - an artistic environment where artists can study together - as well as with watercolor masters. With my love of travel, and on returning from one beautiful painting location after another, I became more aware that my home town of Vancouver is no less spectacular a destination.  This world-class city, with its urban energy, mountain views, and magnificent expanse of oceanfront,  provides more than enough inspiration for any artist.

And so the creation of my new studio - a natural evolution for me - is an extremely exciting new opportunity, the chance for artists and instructors to paint together in a relaxed and creative environment;  nestled in the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
